Commissionaires Victoria, the Islands and Yukon (CVIY) is pleased to announce a three-year title sponsorship of Broadmead Care’s Charity Golf Tournament, an annual tournament that raises funds for special projects at the Veterans Memorial Lodge at Broadmead.

Broadmead Care delivers high-quality residential care programs to veterans, seniors and adults with disabilities who require assistance. The Veterans Memorial Lodge at Broadmead is a 229-bed residential care facility which provides 115 priority access beds and additional four respite care beds for WWII and Korean War Veterans.

Commissionaire CVIY’s CEO, Gary Paulson says

“We could not be more pleased about our sponsorship of the Annual Broadmead Care Charity Golf Tournament and our on-going partnership with the Broadmead care team. As Commissionaires we are honoured to have the opportunity to contribute to the care and well-being of our Veterans.”

With $85,000 raised in donations this year, proceeds were utilized for the replacement of old night tables, cabinets and renovation of the veterans’ and seniors’ rooms. Next year donations will be in support of the Every Moment Matters Fund, which will support the programs and services that help residents and clients of Broadmead Care facilities live in comfort, safety and happiness.

Dave Cheperdak, CEO Broadmead Care adds;

“We are excited about the extension of our three-year title sponsorship opportunity with Commissionaires Victoria. We are proud to serve Canada’s veterans and CAF members at the Veterans Memorial Lodge at Broadmead and the Veterans Health Centre and highly value the support of the Commissionaires in serving these important Canadians.
